Restaurant of traditional Italian cuisine Garda is a part of a restaurant group BarRestoGroup. It opened its doors in October of 2022. It is located in a historic mansion – the Smirnov apartment building on Petrovka. The concept of the restaurant fully reflects Italian traditions.

The chef
Our chef is Roman Vasiliev. He has started to comprehend the culinary basics since the age of 13. Roman has lived in Italy for about 15 years and has worked in restaurants of Rome among which are Roma Beer Company, Ristorante Pierluigi (There he has mastered the Mediterranean cuisine), Ristorante La Pallacorda, restaurant in Croton – Ristorante Lido degli Scogli and he had time to be a chef in an Italian restaurant in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. Some time later he returned to Moscow and worked in Assunta Madre. The next in line was an internship at the Trattoria del Glicine restaurant on Como, marked by the Michelin guide.

The cuisine
The menu includes home-cooked pasta executed by our chef Roman Vasiliev, original Italian pizza out of a wood stove on oak wood, seafood dishes, appetizers made with chef’s author approach and Italian desserts of own production.
The interior
In the design we focused on majestic grandeur and medieval antiquity. The interior of the restaurant mantles the guests with a series of refined decor, soft lighting, entrancing piano melodies and tempts with fragrancies of real home-cooked pasta, sauces and pizza. The name also corresponds to colour solutions of the interior, where blue accents of Garda lake intertwine with golden sands and greenery of a sunny resort. Everything is for the daily rest in the circle of close people.
